Artist statement:
"I envy every painter and every illustrator.
Until I learn to draw, I will photograph."
I am a photographer based in Athens, guided by emotion, intuition, and a deep curiosity for the unseen stories held within souls and spaces.
My practice is a form of listening. I am drawn to places that carry the weight of human experience, where memory, silence, and emotional residue coexist.
Through my lens, I seek not just to document, but to interpret: to find symbols of resilience, beauty, and quiet hope where they are least expected.
My journey to photography was one of reinvention. After years in the business world, I reclaimed my creative voice. This personal transformation fundamentally shapes my work, which often explores themes of light and shadow, confinement and release, and the courage it takes to walk toward a new beginning.
While I develop my personal fine-art projects, I also collaborate with small brands on commissions, bringing the same attentive, narrative-driven perspective to visual storytelling for clients.
Raised in Messolonghi, the singular light of that landscape remains a touchstone in my visual language. For me, photography is the essential medium through which I translate unspoken stories and complex emotions into images, an invitation to pause, feel, and see the world differently.
